In the spirit of the holiday coming up we had to share one of Susan's most prized buttons: the George Washington Inaugural Button.
These buttons were made especially for delegates to wear to the first and second inaugurations of George Washington and are some of the most prized buttons around. Stamped in brass, it displays the image of the bald eagle and star pattern and was most likely made by coin makers or hardware makers. A beautiful piece of history for sure!
